Alas, it is time for yet another of my intriguing entries. Given that it has only technically been one day since the previous entry, i like to see that it’s actually been two days since the previous one was during midnight.

Like a bullet the days just flew by, and national day is already over and so is the school holiday that we were given. I personally did not take advantage of the “study days” and neither was i in the festive mood either, i guess i’m just worried about the oncoming prelims. Moments ago, it was the end of the Mid-year Examinations and now, prelims very soon.

Racial tensions are what i would like to touch on today’s entry. Of course, being a local you've definitely learnt about the racial riots way back in the 1960s and how detrimental they are to the development of the nation. Fortunately, as time goes on races have learnt to be more tolerant with each other but of course, they are exceptions. Hell has broke lose in t22, with all racial insults hurled at the indian and malay members of the class. Obviously, none of that was truly meant as an insult but more of a playful gesture by an almost all-boys class but sometimes we can get too far. Playfulness is ok once in awhile, but if these racial slurs continue on a constant basis, i truly can’t imagine what the future of the situation would be. Even though chances of something major happening are slim, i would definitely not want to take the risk and hopefully these acts of racism would cease.
